Watch: Pepsi Throwback TV Spot

Shot From The Pepsi Throwback CommercialHere it is: the official television commercial launching Pepsi Throwback. I have to say, I love it. They totally got the “retro” feel down with their 60’s / 70’s inspired graphic animation. This ALMOST makes up for its utterly lackluster packaging. Almost. The following video was posted on Pepsi’s Youtube account.

While I haven’t seen this air on television yet, Throwback is only scheduled to be sold for 8 short weeks, so I’m guessing it’ll be popping up soon. Also no word if this is the only spot for Throwback, or if there will be more commercials in a series.

For those of you who can’t watch this thing, here’s a transcript of the voiceover (spoken in a Barry White-Like voice over a funky beat)

Pepsi’s got another hit on its hands and it’s called Pepsi Throwback. Introducing Pepsi Throwback, made with natrual sugar. Only for a limited time. Haha…sing it, baby.

What did you think of the ad? Here are some screen caps:
